The Indiana Story

Reality Language® was brought to Indiana in 2003 by Jody P. Bentz, as jody peloza bentz and associates, who introduced LingoLynx, LLC and Reality Language®(RL) programs through the statewide community foundation network. Subsequently, the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Inc. sponsored Reality Spanish®, which resulted in a beta project for that county. Significant work was then done to expand RL course offerings. Through the development of more courses in Reality Spanish® and Reality English®, the quality of human connection in a number of additional workplaces continues to be impacted.

In January 2007, the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) awarded a large grant to this managing entity to expand their representation of RL from one to seventeen counties in NE Indiana. The Health Care Foundation of Kosciusko County, Inc. managed RL in Kosciusko County from 2005 to January 2009. During this time period, over 550 community members were empowered with working second language skills and enhanced cultural understanding at work.

Central Indiana saw its first trainers at Marian College in Fall 2007 followed in September 2008 by an additional pool of trainers at St. Vincent Hospitals & Health Services specializing in health care. Evansville in Southern Indiana now has a cadre of certified trainers who are available to teach classes in a variety of courses. Many visionary groups throughout the state are being plugged into the expanding network of caring communities who are integrating their members and fostering connections through Reality Language® programs.
