Reality Spanish® for Kids
BIENVENIDOS- Welcome to a fun, interactive and EFFECTIVE language experience! Reality Spanish® for Kids has been created with both kids and interested adults in mind. Reality Spanish® for Kids is a great combination of self discovery learning and creative language activities that all ages will enjoy!
What this course is:
- an integrated language acquisition program utilizing all modalities of learning: aural, visual, kinesthetic, emotional, reading/listening/speaking/writing, & others
- a guided, fun, and informative program that supports both individual and group learning experiences
- an opportunity for non-Spanish speaking parents and teachers to bring Spanish learning to their children and also engage in the learning alongside them
- a continuous resource for extended learning opportunities through additional activities and related websites
What this course is NOT:
- another cookie-cutter language program that supplies lists of vocabulary but no practical activities or explanations for reproducing the language through speech
The combination of the CD-ROM, workbook, and the Parent/Teacher Guide allows participants the best possibility for independently acquiring a new language.
Every Reality Spanish® for Kids packet contains:
The multi-media, interactive CD-ROM which provides:
- audio components - perfect tools for hearing and learning proper pronunciation of new vocabulary and phrases
- visual components - placing the vocabulary, commands, and phrases into context: animated dialogs and stories are set in familiar settings with family, friends, and community members
- written language - opportunities for emerging or skilled readers to decode Spanish text as they hear it, enriching the 'learn-to-read' process
- the natural approach to acquiring language - as stand-alone vocabulary is built into comprehensible phrases and into a holistic presentation of stories and dialogs
- solo or team work - to introduce concepts and/or enrich meaningful independent practice
- engagement with real language - a fun tool for the whole family!
The workbook which provides:
- in-depth activities that correspond to the CD-ROM modules
- enrichment opportunities to engage reading & writing skills
- practice using different learning styles including reflective and independent skills, as opposed to group or interactive skills
The parent/teacher guide and DVD which provide:
- structure and guidance for adult facilitators to teach a second language to children
- further explanations of specific grammatical and cultural points that may not be easily understood or relevant to younger kids
- additional ideas and models for enriching student learning through ACTIVE engagement with, and internalization of the language in conversation, away from screen, workbooks and 'lesson plans'

Reality Spanish® for Kids is a result of requests for a Reality Spanish® course specific to kids and their parents or teachers. LingoLynx collaborated with a team of talented, creative, and bilingual homeschooled co-authors.
